Visiting Trefoil Corporation

Trefoil is located on Ayers Island, in Orono, Maine, about a 20-minute drive from the Bangor International Airport.

Directions from the Bangor International Airport to Trefoil

  • - Turn right from Airport Road onto Union Street.
  • - Follow the signs to I-95 North (to Orono).
  • - Take I-95 North to Exit 191.
  • - Take a right onto Kelly Road, and follow Kelly Road until it ends at a light.
  • - At the light, turn left onto Route 2 North (to Orono).
  • - Drive about one-half mile on Route 2.
  • - Take a right onto Island Ave. (A Big Apple Convenience store and gas station is located on the corner of Route 2 and Island Ave.)
  • - Proceed down the hill. Ayers Island is directly across the railroad tracks at the bottom of the hill.
  • - After crossing the bridge, please enter through the door of the large white building.
